Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data Launchr collects, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short and plain, with no hidden clauses.

Who we are

Launchr is a web design service run by Matthew, based in Co. Louth, Ireland. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, Launchr is the data controller for the information described here.

You can reach us at hello@launchr.ie for any privacy question.

What data we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. That means:

We do not run advertising trackers, sell your data, or build marketing profiles.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your data to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and discuss a possible project. Our lawful basis under GDPR is:

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers (data processors) to run the site. They only process your data to provide their service to us:

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We load fonts and a small animation library from third-party services (such as Google Fonts and public CDNs) so the page displays correctly; these services may see your IP address as part of delivering those files. No consent banner is needed because we do not store non-essential cookies on your device.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our own records. If your enquiry does not lead to a project, we delete it within 24 months. If we work together, we keep what we need to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete the rest.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email hello@launchr.ie and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including secure (HTTPS) connections and limiting who can access enquiry details. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
